What is an “organelle”?
An organelle is a sub-cellular structure that has one or more specific jobs to perform in the cell, much like an organ does in the body.
Within our city and neighborhood are many structures that perform specific functions for the operation of the whole. Every restaurant, book store, coffee shop, park, etc… has a place in our local structure. Every person, family, animal and plant provides practical value to the function.
